Collection: Apple Fiber Studio | Hand-Dyed in Bellingham

Micro-Brewed in Bellingham

Apple Fiber Studio is the hand-dyed yarn line of Apple Yarns, a knitting and crochet shop in Bellingham, Washington. Just like our town's favorite breweries, our yarn is made in small batches with a lot of love. Every skein is dyed by our lead dyer, Andrea, then twisted, labeled, and finished by hand by our Apple Yarns team.

Our bases are named for the apples we love: McIntosh (merino, alpaca and nylon fingering), Cortland (suri alpaca and silk lace), Empire (merino and silk fingering), Delicious (kid mohair and silk lace), and Gala (superwash merino and recycled nylon sock yarn, home to our limited-edition colors). Our colors are inspired by the places and moments that make the Pacific Northwest home.

Looking for something special? Hold McIntosh or Empire together with Cortland for a soft, dreamy halo. We're always happy to help you choose colors for your next project, and we wind your skeins for free.
